Start your one week in Morocco itinerary of the Imperial Cities with a pick-up from Casablanca International Airport. Then visit the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Morocco. Explore this iconic mosque with its magnificent gates and marvel at the quality of Moroccan artisanship. Make your way to Rick’s Café, renowned for its cinematic legacy associated with two iconic film stars, Ingrid Bergman and Humphrey Bogart. Afterward, enjoy a relaxed stroll along the Corniche before heading to the hotel.
After breakfast, drive along the coastline to Rabat, one of the 4 imperial cities. Explore the city’s landmarks such as the Kasbah of Oudaya, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and Hassan Tower. Continue the journey through the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, also known as the Blue Pearl.

After breakfast, resume your one-week imperial cities journey as you leave for Fes. Enjoy the views as you pass through the Rif Mountains. Arrive at the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Volubilis is a partly excavated Berber city with well-preserved mosaics. Free time to explore and marvel at this historical landmark.
Continue to Meknes, another imperial city. Admire the magnificent Bab el-Mansour gate at Place El Hedim, visit the enormous Heri es-Souani, and discover the original purpose of the ancient ruins. After some leisure time, continue to Fes for an overnight stay in a riad.
Following breakfast, go on a guided tour, dedicating the entire day to exploring the intellectual and imperial city of the kingdom. Discover the stunning Bou Inania Medersa, featuring intricately carved cedar doors and panels of exceptional craftsmanship. Explore Fes El-Jedid and marvel at the Karaouine University and Mosque, recognized as the first university in the world.

Start the fifth day of your week-long exploration of the imperial cities by traversing the Middle Atlas Mountains. Take several breaks to marvel at the breathtaking landscapes and panoramic views of the Berber villages and the Atlas Mountains. Once in Beni Mellal, consider an optional lunch stop at a local restaurant. Reach Marrakech in the late afternoon and spend the night in a riad within the Medina.
