Welcome to Morocco!
Meet and greet at Casablanca International Airport and private transfer to your hotel. If time allows, visit the iconic Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest in the world. Enjoy a scenic walk along the Corniche before settling in. Free time to rest before going for a welcome dinner at the hotel or Moroccan restaurant.
After breakfast, drive to Rabat, the capital city of Morocco, about 1.5 hours away. Explore the Kasbah of the Udayas, Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, significant historical landmarks.
Enjoy the city’s blend of history and modernity. Continue through the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, known for its distinctive blue medina. Stroll around the medina and enjoy the stunning mountain views.
Resume your 12-day Morocco itinerary by departing Chefchaouen and heading south. Stop at Volubilis to explore the best-preserved Roman ruins in Morocco. Continue through Meknes for a brief look at the imperial city before arriving in Fes. Check into your accommodation and enjoy the evening
Enjoy a full-day guided tour of Fes. Visit the historic Al Quaraouiyine University, the Bou Inania Madrasa, and the iconic tanneries. The Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site, offers a mix of historical sites and local culture.
Drive towards Merzouga, with scenic stops along the way. Visit Ifrane, known for its Swiss-like atmosphere, then pass through the Ziz Valley, known for its palm groves and impressive views. Arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Settle into your accommodation and prepare for the next day’s desert adventure.
Today, we explore the world’s largest hot desert. Its vastness is overwhelming. We’ll visit local Berber villages to experience a day in the life of nomad families, enjoy traditional music, and celebrate the cultural diversity in this part of Morocco. Later in the afternoon, we return to the hotel to relax and prepare for the sunset camel ride towards the camp. Enjoy a warm welcome with tea at the camp and settle into our luxurious glamping tents. There will be a delicious dessert feast, a campfire, and live drumming music by locals.
Continue the 12-day Morocco itinerary and leave for Rissani Market. Continue toward the Todra Gorges, where steep canyon walls make for an impressive stop. End the day in the Dades Valley, known for its red rock formations and winding roads.
Travel through the Valley of Roses and stop in Ouarzazate to visit the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, offering wide panoramic views. Arrive in Marrakech by late afternoon and settle into your accommodation.

Drive west to the Atlantic coast and reach Essaouira, a breezy port town known for its old Portuguese ramparts and laid-back feel. En route, stop at a women’s cooperative to learn about traditional argan oil production, from cracking the nuts to pressing the oil by hand. Explore the fishing harbor, art galleries, and winding alleys. Enjoy fresh seafood and coastal charm.
Enjoy a free morning in Essaouira to relax, visit the beach, or take part in optional water activities such as surfing or kitesurfing. Later, leave Essaouira and journey back to Casablanca, passing through the coastal and inland plains. Once you arrive in Casablanca, unwind and get ready for the farewell dinner.

One of the highlights of my trip was the riad. It was an absolute oasis of tranquility amidst the bustling city. The riad was beautifully decorated in traditional Moroccan style, with a peaceful courtyard, and incredibly friendly staff. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge after a day of exploring.
Mohamed's recommendations for restaurants were also spot on. He took me to some fantastic local eateries where I got to try authentic Moroccan cuisine, from flavorful tagines and couscous. He even introduced me to some hidden gems that I wouldn't have found on my own. One evening, we dined at a charming restaurant tucked away in a quiet alleyway, where we enjoyed a delicious Tanjia and tagine with prunes and almonds, accompanied by traditional music. It was a truly unforgettable dining experience.

The hotels he booked us were lovely and each one charming in its own way. He also helped us book accommodation for the parts of our trip which were not part of the tour.
Our driver Addi was a delight too. Despite it being the month of Ramadan, the professionalism and client care did not slip once, he was knowledgeable and very sincere.
